Background

Thursday, 01 May 2008Compañía Minera Aurífera Santa Rosa S.A. (COMARSA) was founded on January 20 1992, being its social purpose to develop all kind of mining activities.

On June 10 1993, the construction stage of PADs, ponds, camps, offices, workshops, amongst others, as well as the installation of the ADR plant was begun.
In January 1994 the deposit of materials into the first leaching module PAD #1 began, producing the first dore bar on April 24 1994.

The company has three cession agreements to carry out prospection and exploration works to increase the geological resources and consequently, the minable reserves.
